STEEL EQUAL ANGLE SECTION PROPERTIES

Steel equal angle (equal-leg L-shape) section properties for structural engineering design. Use this tool to obtain geometric properties, section moduli, radii of gyration, torsional properties, and workable gage data for standard equal-leg angle profiles.

Section properties are given with respect to the X, Y, and Z principal axes. The Z axis is defined as the axis with the smallest radius of gyration and is typically the critical axis for column buckling.
