Modulus of Elasticity (Young’s Modulus) for Metals

The modulus of elasticity, also known as Young’s modulus (E),
is the ratio of stress to strain within the elastic region of deformation.
It measures a material’s stiffness or resistance to elastic deformation.
A higher modulus indicates a stiffer material. Modulus of elasticity is essential for
deflection and
stress analysis calculations.
