WOODRUFF KEYSEAT DIMENSIONS

Woodruff keyseat dimensions and tolerances are given in the following chart according to ASME B17.2 standard.

Woodruff shaft keyseat is a circular pocket in which the woodruff key is retained. Hub keyseat (keyway) is an axially located rectangular groove in a hub. An arbor type or shank type milling cutter normally used for milling Woodruff keyseats in shafts.
