BOLT GRADES FOR STAINLESS STEEL METRIC BOLTS

Stainless steel bolt grades for tensile strength and proportional limit of stainless steel metric bolts.

Grades and strength of bolts, screws and studs made of corrosion-resistant stainless steels are specified in the EN ISO 3506-1  standard. Strength grades A1, A2, A3, A4, A5, C1, C4, C1, C3, F1 and strength classes 45, 50, 60, 70, 80, 110 for stainless steel bolts are covered in this standard.

Some important notes from EN ISO 3506-1:2009 standard:

- Standard specifies the mechanical properties of bolts, screws and studs made of stainless steels when tested at an ambient temperature range of 10 °C to 35 °C.

- with nominal thread diameter d ≤ 39 mm and with triangular ISO thread
